About Big Picture
Big Picture is a graphic design and photography boutique based in Melbourne, Australia, providing graphic and photographic solutions for branding, advertising, multimedia, and the web.
Founded in 1996 by photographer Gerhard Herzig, the studio is currently operating in the south eastern suburb of Knoxfield, about 25 kms from central Melbourne. This area of Melbourne has attracted many industrial businesses in recent years due to its excellent location and infrastructure.
We provide clients a diverse range of styles and influences.
Over the years, Big Picture has worked with diverse companies and businesses including Siemens, GlaxosmithKline, Maton Guitars, Southern Rocycling, Lipton Teas, Appleby Real Estate, Kenworth, Australian Super, Baiada Poultry, Gray Nicolls, Good Year, Extra Transport, Lazaway Pool & Spas, Natural Compatibles, Nutrimetics, Ramsay Health Care, Tessa Furniture, and Clark Rubber.
Our photographic studio floor area is 110 square metres, big enough for all sorts of commercial photogprahy projects including cars, lifestyle photography, furniture photography using sets, etc… We also offer food photography. Our kitchen will impress any chef or food stylist.
We also rent our photographic studio to other photographers . Our studio is also suitable for video production work.

At Big Picture, you will find all the creative, technical and organisational skills you require to produce all your marketing collateral. Our team of designers offer graphic design, copywriting, new media and web design and development. Our studio services include web and digital printing, DVD production, large format printing and photographic print production. We also offer exhibition design services, as well as banner and display systems. All done in house. Our photo and artwork finishing team personally mount and laminate large size artworks for our clients.
